Pvc windows how do you tighten loose handles?

I have tightened the 2 screws on the front off handle &the

handles are still loose

  1. I'm guessing the holes are stripped, or enlarged: rather common. Try applying a small dap of JB Weld or Bondo to s***w threads after s***w has been inserted into handle. Don't overtighten, and let adhesive set-up per directions. I have also wrapped threads with teflon pipe tape and applied PVC pipe cement.

  3. This is a diffcult one Derrick, because it is Pvc. and you need to know something about window furniture installation, before meddling with it. It's not the 2 screws that you tightened that are the problem, they just hold the front plate on, and have nothing to do with the fixing of the handle itself. In this case I don't think you have a lot of options, you need to find someone who is familiar with this stuff.

  4. You just buy replacements it's cheaper than calling a window repairer out.......
