Py50 pw50 peewee carb float question?

i have a pw50 copy made by yamoto, the carb is made by minky. ive been having problems with the petrol overflowing through the overflow pipe. I had the carb in pieces a while ago and now im wondering if ive lost something that should be there. Basicly, the float has to be all the way up before it puches the float needle up to stop the flow of petrol, i recon this is the point at which the level of petrol starts poaring through the over flow hole. Does anyone know if there is a small bit missing? ive taken some pictures.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v646/mikeouk/carb1.jpg should the float be all the way up like this before the float needle is pushed all the way up to stop the flow?

  1. the float valve should have a dome at the top to fit grove in the plastic float as to hold the valve in shut position

  2. Is there a hole in the float  or dirt in the float needle stoping it from shutting off

  3. ive has a few  of those...it doesnt look as though there should be anything there, nothing snaped of the valve base BUT the pic u listed dont show any adjustment....with copper floats theres a flap that can be adjusted [where screwdriver points] to set the float level...you may need to fabricate somting to do just that....
