Q my new PC on Macbook help!?

I recently downloaded Q my new pc(lets you run vista etc on mac) onto my macbook and whenever I create a new PC it shows a black screen with blue text an at the bottom it says ''Boot from Hard Disk 0 failed

CDROM boot failure code : 0003

Boot from CD-Rom failed

FATAL: Could not read the boot disk'' why is it doing this and how do I fix it? Thanks.

  1. That is the answer. Under Leopard you will get BootCamp that works on Intel CPU Macs. For non-Intel you must buy VMWare or Parallels. If you go to an outside vendor then you must ask THEM! It is after THERE software. VMWare and Parallels are the accepted norm. You would be better to call your vendor for tech support. Or visit their forum. OR search google with this error code and see if anyone else has this problem and if it can be resolved.


  2. you better make a partition using Apple Bootcamp and drivers provided by it!and then install windows.VMware makes performance down.

  3. Why did you get "Q" ? Apple provides Bootcamp, or you can get VMware which is highly recommended or Parallels which I have which is very good.
