QB Aaron Rodgers really pleased with new Green Bay Packers offensive coaches
The Green Bay Packers have undergone a big shakeup in their offensive coaches after former offensive coordinator, Joe Philbin, left the franchise to take over at the Miami Dolphins.
Green Bay though did not look outside to fill the gap at the position and promoted from within as quarterbacks coach, Tom Clements took over the offensive coordinator duties.
The quarterbacks coach position was filled by Ben McAdoo whose previous responsibility was to coach the tight ends.
These moves though have not impacted one bit the way Green Bay prepares for the upcoming season as the coaches already know what kind of system they need to run for success and there is no adjustment time in between.
Quarterback, Aaron Rodgers could not be more pleased with his new coaches and in an interview on Wednesday said he was happy with the changes in coaches.
According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel he said.
"I enjoy a new face in the room with some new ideas to motivate me and challenge me,"
He added further.
"Because it's a different voice in the room, there's going to be times when he brings things up that you probably haven't heard before. I think it's going to be a great room come regular season. Ben's done a good job so far."
Rodgers is looking forward to having an even better season than last year when he was named the league’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) after leading Green Bay Packers to a 15-1 regular season record.
Continuity in the coaching philosophy is a great asset for the Packers right now as they prepare for the new season and Rodgers is loving training with McAdoo.
"I love our staff. Mike does a great job of bringing in guys who understand the position, either played the position or studied their butt off to make sure they understand what they're teaching, and make sure they understand how to get it across to the players.
So it's a great staff."
The Packers are looking to win the Super Bowl in the upcoming season after last year’s disappointing playoff campaign and with Rodgers leading the offence fans can be sure that they will see another impressive year for Green Bay in the 2012-13 campaign.
