The Queens Park Rangers’ owner has admitted that his club are looking to sign another striker to add to their growing squad for the English Premier League but currently they are pondering over two names i.e. Jermaine Defoe
and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Craig-Bellamy-c9471....
Craig Bellamy and Jermaine Defoe are two strikers that are within the cross chairs of Queens Park Rangers’ owner who is working in tandem with Mark Hughes to add quality to their squad. QPR did well last season in their fight against
relegation as they almost gained a crucial win over Manchester City in the very last match of the season.
Despite Joey Barton’s sending off, the visiting side gained a one goal advantage over City who then rallied back to score two late goals in order to win the match and win the Premier League title as well. Luckily for QPR, results
elsewhere also played out in their favour therefore they did not have to face relegation despite their loss to the Premier League champions.
Now in the current transfer window, the London club is adamant on improving their offensive department and arrival of Craig Bellamy from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 might just do that. The Welsh striker is currently on duty with the Great Britain
football team for the 2012 Olympics but QPR are not giving up their chase.
Bhatia, the QPR owner said, "Craig is definitely a name that has been mentioned, a name we've discussed. There are a few options. We have been a fan of Craig Bellamy for the last few years, ever since he became available - that's
not to say we have not been fans of other players.
He added that QPR are also looking to sign Jermaine Defoe. Bhatia said, "It would be hard to speculate at this point. It's not the right thing to do. Mark likes to have a long list of players! We'll see what happens.”
QPR’s main aim in the upcoming league season would be to secure their survival in the Premier League for sure but a cup run on the side will do wonders for the London minnows as well who didn’t impress until the January transfer
window last season.
