  1. yes, geckos can eat cockroaches. make sure the cockroaches are as big as his head as he can choke on them. also on adult geckos throw in a pinky mouse every once in a while.

  2. If you are even considering something crazy like this, make sure that you buy a common and native species which won't displace/endanger the native species in your state, should they escape your home.

It is never a good idea to have animals free ranging your home.  You cannot provide for their safety or health.  They can be stepped on, injured while vacuuming, not to mention being exposed to chemicals in the household (Comet/Ajax, laundry detergents, etc.).

It is not the responsible thing to do.  Call an exterminator.

I hope this has been helpful.

  3. ya you can feed it cockroach but i suggest mealworms and crickets those are good source of  calaium

  4. if ur in hawaii no prob about buyin a gecko or food, they cover the walls. but anywhere else, dont let it run free it will run away or get in places u dont want & make a mess. but they do eat bugs, i dont think cockroaches though, geckos arent that big, at least leopard geckos arent, which is what i have

  5. They may eat them but I would not recommend letting a gecko loose in your house if you want it to survive, there are so many dangerous things(example cleaners) they could get into and they need to be kept in a tank with the proper equipment and diet to keep them healthy.
