  1. There are many different sizes of blasts.  There is a way to survive, but chances are slim that you would.  First of all, when a nclear bomb goes off it can cover an area as big as Chicago, and after it goes off, the area is a completely vaccum.  No air for an hour usually.  Radiation is surviveable, but there will be effect soon after, or later.  Research chernobyl.  Here is a link

  2. That depends on the device.  Nuclear weapons range from the equivalent of several kilotons of TNT to several megatons of TNT.  Yes, it is possible to survive the blast in a correctly built shelter.  Survival without a shelter depends on the size of the blast and how close you are to it.  There are survivors of the Hiroshima blast still around today, just as an example.

  3. In easy terms nuclear weapons come in many sizes and forms. The smallest are just a few kilotons fired from an artillery gun up to 20 megatons launched from a ballistic missile. 20 megatons is 10,000 times more powerful than a 2 kiloton weapon. Some weapons explode in the air while others explode on impact on the ground. Generally there is an immediate death zone from heat and blast wave, then further zones killing and injuring from radiation and shock wave. Years after a blast radiation will continue to harm peoples children.

  4. Well you wouldn't really want to be that close to it.

  5. Well it depends on the device, different nations has different devices. It is know America has the strongest, Britain's are the next then Russia then France.

So If a US bomb hit say a city like ohh Moscow, the entire city would be destroyed all building would fall. There's no way to survive. The Blast will be of such intense heat your eyes will essentially melt and everything will set on fire, and your will be left parched. The Nuclear material will then mix with the water vapor and hen t rains you'll want to drink it like they did in Nagasaki, yet t water is poisoness and kills you.The radiation will spill out further across the country. The fallout will be lifted into the atmosphere and depending on the wind direction e.g the fallout of chinoble fell across western Europe and especially wales where a number of sheep died form radiation poisoning.

The only way to survive is RUN, RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF THE AWAY FROM THE CITY.
