What is meant by this- when magnification is 0?

  1. magnification = image height / object height

    Since magnification = 0,

    it means that image height = 0

    ie there is no image at all. (or virtual image is formed)


  2. magnification =0 means that the image is reduced to a point> this can only happen when the object is at infinite and you are in the focal image plane

  4. If the image is the same size as object the magnification is said to be 1.

    magnification = Image dimension / object dimension. If the magnification is '0' it may mean (my guess) there is no image.
