please help

ok i am supposed to draw a line that contains point P and has slope m.

P(3, -1) m=undifined

i get everything its just that i dont know how to draw the undifined slope

do you?

A vertical line has undefined slope.  Slope can be expressed as a fraction, such as 1/2.  A slope of 1/2 means you would go "up one, right 2."  As you may know, you cannot have a denominator of 0: a slope of 3/0 is undefined.  You can, on the other hand, have a slope of 0, (meaning the numerator is 0) which is a horizontal line.

    So, the equation for your problem is the vertical line that goes through the point (3, -1), which is x = 3.
