Qantas International Economy?

Question

Flying from LA to brisbane, stoping in sydeny and christchurch(NZ), then finally flying back from NZ to LA, all with qantas economy. Ive been reading some pretty terrible reviews about it. Your opinions?

Qantas is the best airline I've ever flown on. People seldom go to the trouble of writing a review if they have only good news but nothing's too much trouble when they have a gripe. Qantas is one of the world's busiest airlines and most people love it though of course, Qantas does slip up from time to time and that's when you hear about it.

Don't be concerned. I'm sure you'll love it (and write them a nice review when you do).

I have not had any perosnal experiance with Qantas International but my dad has.

in 2005, he flew SYD-LA and back in a 747 and he said that it was the worst 2 flights he had ever been on. my dad is a big man, but even with an emergency row on the way home, he said that he never saw a flight attendant except for meal service, entry and exit of the aircraft.

but I also hear great reviews.

the thing that lets them down is in-consistancy.

i would not fly with anyone but Qantas

did Canada to Australia twice last year on Qantas and the year before that,  staff are great,food is very good,plenty of in flight entertainment(latest movies) comfort packs(socks toothpaste etc)
