No I don't think it is.

No one yet knows exactly what caused this fault.

The oxygen tank may have exploded, but where was it made ?

However, with lower priced air fares these days, and higher costs, ALL airlines MUST be making savings somewhere !!

It is the price we pay for lower $ prices.

I wouldn't say losing the plot, Qantas had an impressive safety record...

However in saying that on the last couple of months there has been 3 serious incidents, fortunatly none have ended in disaster

I just hope with all these c**p job losses they have done last week that the service quality doesn't get affected.

no...this is the only mishap in their history...more than we can say for other airlines.
