Question:

Qantas: Paying for checked luggage?

I am flying the the USA in a few days and I was wondering if Qantas requires one to pay for their checked luggage. Usually one is allowed 2 suitcases, and 1 carry-on (+1 personal item). Do we now have to pay to check those in? or only if we have more than those?

  1. no you don't have to pay for checked baggage as long as the 2 peices do not exceed 32kg each.

you have to pay for every "peice" over this weight, not kg.

and this can range from $12 to $144 depending on how far you are travelling.

for more information i reccommend this site =)
