Question:

Qantas bloody Qantas?

Is it just me or does it seriously seem as though things are falling off the QANTAS planes left, right and centre?

I mean, there's been ANOTHER incident!

What, the sixth in under three months?

How long is it going to be until one actually FALLS out of the sky?

Personally, I'm not flying on them EVER again, until they bring their maintenance back home to Australia.

Asia can't maintain their high standards.

Is it a coincidence that as soon as they take their maintenance overseas, the planes all have faults?

No.

It's not.

And don't fool yourself.

Which airline do you fly?

Would you still fly QANTAS?

And what do you think about the recent incidents?

Ta

  1. I'd still feel safer on QANTAS than many other carriers around, although probably less so than ten years ago.  It's like they've (qantas management) shot themselves in the foot with this one.  They're always crying poor (dispite continued huge profits) and claiming that they're entering voltile periods where cost cutting is needed everywhere.  We have been blasted with this line since at least 2000.

Now when something goes wrong with their planes, why wouldn't the public put 2 and 2 together.  So yes, the focus on dollars and an associated decline in observable customer service standards does scare me and lessen my confidence in qantas' safety standards.
