Hi... i heard about this stupid rediculours change by qantas airways on the news few weeks ago about the new change of you can not shove more things in the bags or you would be force to get half the stuff out of the bag which i think it has to be no higher then silly 7kilos..

My new luggage bag is this

but slightly alittle taller.. because that one is much smaller..

Well aniways even that is heavy enough.. So how can i put cloths and shoes in it if the luggage itself waights 7 kilos or something ? you dont expect to take your luggage with you empty inside it just because Qantas new rules for waights on bags and all has to be some what 7 kilos ?

And also ill be carring a computer laptop bag... the bag is the type for laptop so how much kilos that has to be and how much kilos on that bigger bag with wheels on it ?

One has to come next to me while the other takes care by qantas.

  1. There isn't a new 'kilogram' for luggage. A kilogramme as defined by the International System of Units has not changed and that is the one used by Qantas and other carriers.

Ansettlad, Macgret et al. I think you will find all relevant information pertaining to luggage allowances on the Qantas website at the websites given below.

    Hand luggage:  http://www.qantas.com.au/travel/airlines/carry-on-baggage/global/en

    Hold luggage: http://www.qantas.com.au/travel/airlines/checked-baggage/global/en
