After seeing Paris Saint-Germain made a dismal start to the new campaign, the club’s Middle Eastern owners are reportedly losing their patience which means that the former AC Milan manager could well end up living on borrowed time
Last winter, Paris Saint-Germain landed the services of former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 international, Carlo Ancelotti. The Roman arrived at the capital club with an impressive CV which included a Premier League title, Scudetto and two Champions League winners’ medals from
his time at AC Milan.
Ancelotti was named the new coach of Les Parisiens following the unceremonious sacking of Antoine Kombouare. Many people in Paris did not like the way Ancelotti arrived but slowly started putting their faith on a manager who has achieved so much success.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 manager earns 500,000 euros per month but today, his state of grace withers. The Transalpine coach is still struggling to properly impose PSG during his eight-month sojourn at the club and if this trend continues, a time will come when
the club’s Qatari owners will be forced to look for other options.
After being held to a 0-0 draw by Ajaccio, Paris Saint-Germain yet again failed to find the back of the net against a resilient Bordeaux side on Sunday.
Following the game, Ancelotti admitted that the team’s identity needs to improve and also said that winning the Championelle is very important for the club.
“It’s only a technical and tactical problem. We need to improve the identity of the team on the field. We know we have to win the Championnat. It’s normal. Good plays are missing. The solution will come, I’m sure,” said the Italian tactician while talking
to L’Equipe.
However, it is believed that the Qatari leadership is not impressed with the club’s exploits especially after spending so much money on new players this summer. Ancelotti is playing with fire and the longer it takes for PSG to hit top gear, the tougher it
will become for Ancelotti.
Already many people in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 have voiced their opinion on the club’s poor performance. Some have even gone on to call the current scenario harmful to the country’s image.
Right now, Ancelotti’s position at the club might not be in danger but the status quo will not last for long. PSG play against Lille in their next game and a good result would be the order of the day.
