Quad Road Tax?

I have a 320cc road legal quad bike, its classed as a "lights goods vehical" under the laden weight of 550kg...does any one know how much road tax it would cost for a year?..ive looked on the DVLA website and im sure they said it would be about £180?? surley it wouldnt be that much seeing as how its more economacally friendly?

    Your only option is to have it re-registered under a different class of vehicle or use.

  4. It is a Quad Cycle, not a Bike.

    Bike has 2 wheels,

    Trike has 3 wheels,

    Quad has 4 wheels.

    You don't say 'trike bike' do you?

    Should be a lot less than £180 - mind you, this bunch of thieving gits need as much money from everyone as possible - to give to poorer nations.

  5. Yes, they fall into the same tax categories as cars - ie, if it's registered prior to March 2001 it'll be £66 or £120 for six or twelve months respectively; If it's registered since then, it goes by emissions as follows;
