  1. y=mx+b right?

    email me for more info

  2. give me a quadratic sum.ill give u an answer.

  3. ...................______

    x = -b + or -√b*2-4ac| over 2a

    I did the best i could.

    My teacher taught me a weird song...

    X equals negative B, plus or minus square root, B squared minus 4 A C, all over 2 A

  4. x =( -b + or - the square root of b^2  -- 2ac )/2a

    Basically, you use this when you have a function written like this:

    ax^2 + bx + c = 0

    And you can't factor it.

    So, here is a sample problem:

    2x^2 + 5x - 8 = 0

    a= 2

    b=5

    c= -8

    So you plug it in...

    x = (-5 + the square root of (5^2 - 2(2)(-8)))/2(2)

    x= (-5 - the square root of (5^2 - 2(2)(-8)))/2(2)

    You plug it in the calculator, solve it, reduce it, and you get your x values =)

  5. quadratic formula:

    ax^2+bx+c

    b+/- sq root (b^2 - 4ac)

    ---------------------------------

                          2a

    plug the nums in

  6. x is equal to opposite b,

    plus or minus square root,

    or b squared minus 4ac,

    all over 2a

    first, you have to change the expression that they give you in to the form of Ax squared + Bx +C

    then you plug it in
