The agent of the Old Lady striker has revealed that the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 to stay at Juventus Stadium.
The agent of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-Quagliarella-c13194 has revealed that he rejected offers from two foreign clubs to remain at Juventus Stadium in the January transfer window.
Agent, Beppe Bozzo, revealed that his client had offers from Villarreal and Zenit Saint Petersburg, but he rejected them to stay with the Turin giants.  Bozzo revealed his client’s love for the Old Lady, stating that he wants to
retire at Juventus Stadium.
While talking to TMW, the representative said:
“Russian side Zenit and Villarreal of Spain were interested in him. However, Quagliarella has always wanted to remain at Juventus and end his career in the black and white jersey. The club also have no intention of selling him
either.”
Despite struggling with lack of first-team opportunities at Juventus, Quagliarella is eager to prove his worth with the Turin giants. The striker is willing to fight for his place, and the agent suggests that his client struggled
for consistency in the early part of the season.
“Fabio struggled at the start of the campaign for consistency, but now he is charged up and waiting for his opportunity. When that time comes then he will give a great contribution to the club.” Added the agent of the Bianconeri
striker
The 29-year-old has featured in only nine games in the ongoing campaign, scoring only one goal in the process. The striker has struggled with form and fitness in the current season, and has started only a handful of matches.
He had an impressive 2010/11 campaign, scoring nine goals in 17 appearances for the Old Lady. The 29-year-old joined Juventus from Napoli for approximately 4.5 million Euros in 2010, and has gone onto score 11 goals from 31 appearances
for the Turin giants.
Quagliarella is looking to get some playing time under his belt in order to impress Cesare Prandelli, ahead of the Euro 2012. The striker is eager to find a place in the Italian international squad for the upcoming European competition.
The former Sampdoria star has scored six goals in 25 appearances for Gli Azzurri so far.
