Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2010-11, Division Two: KRL demolish http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Quetta-c835 to head the Points Table
The best were against the worst at the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Khan-Research-Laboratories-c804 Ground Rawalpindi as KRL faced Quetta in a 9th round fixture of the Quaid e Azam Trophy 2010-11 division two. As expected, KRL defeated Quetta with an emphatic margin of an innings
and 171 runs in just 2 days of play. With this victory, KRL gained the first position in the points table with 48 points in 8 games, whereas Quetta is tottering with no points after 9 matches.
Captain of KRL, Muhammad Wasim won the toss and without any hesitation elected to bowl first on a green track. The toss turned out to be vital for KRL as Quetta was swept away for only 45 runs in just 18.3 overs. Only 2 batsmen went into the double figures
as both Bismillah Khan and Manzoor Ahmed scored 10 runs each.
KRL did not need the services of any third bowler as all the 10 wickets were shared between http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Yasir-Arafat-c98241. The former took 6 wickets after conceding only 19 runs in his spell of 9 overs. Whereas Yasir Arafat took

but Test cricketers, Bazid Khan and Muhammad Wasim rescued the innings and made sure that they don’t give a sniff of hope to Quetta’s bowling attack. Both of them accumulated 170 runs for the 3rd wicket partnership on a track that was offering assistance
to the seam bowlers. KRL took a 1st innings lead of 277 runs.

Yasir Arafat picked up yet another 5-wicket haul in First-class cricket as Muhammad Irfan and Rahat Ali took a couple of wickets each to help their team rattle Quetta.
