Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2010-11: Aqeel Ahmed takes 10 as Faisalabad beat Islamabad
Both Faisalabad and Islamabad have been hampered big time as majority of their senior players are not available to play for their regions this year but still both the teams have come up with some fighting performances in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2010-11.
These two teams were up against each other in the 8th round as we witnessed a well-fought match. But Faisalabad used its experience at the later stages of the match and defeated Islamabad by 136 runs after conceding a 1st innings lead
and made a remarkable comeback.
At the Iqbal Stadium Faisalabad, Rauf Akbar won the toss for Islamabad and invited the home team to bat 1st on a green track. The decision turned out to be a good one as Faisalabad was bowled out on a cheap score of 181 runs in only 48.1 overs
