After a low first innings score of 232 runs by Islamabad, WAPDA posted 388 runs in their first innings, thanks to a crafty hundred by right-handed middle-order batsman from Lahore, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Fakhar-Hussain-c56759 picked up a five-wicket
haul to help his team’s cause.
At the close of play on day three, Islamabad had scored 132 runs after losing five wickets in their second innings. Out of favour Test fast bowler, Rana Naved ul http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hasan-c61990 has grabbed three wickets so far and he is going to present the
real threat to Islamabad on the last day of the match.
At the National Stadium, Karachi, National Bank of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Fawad-Alam-c56883. In reply of Karachi Blues’ first innings score of 298 runs, NBP scored 520 runs for
the loss of three wickets before declaring their innings.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nasir-Jamshed-c78752 scored 168 runs, whereas, Fawad Alam scored a brisk hundred as well.
At the close of play on day three, Karachi Blues had lost one wicket after scoring 90 runs in their second innings. It remains to be seen that the home team can save the match or not on the last day of the sixth round.
Rawalpindi was in huge trouble at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium at stumps on day three and only a miracle can save them from defeat now. They required 296 more runs to win in the last innings, with eight wickets in hand. It seems like
a very improbable target considering the behavior of the pitch in this match.
At the Jinnah Stadium, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-International-Airlines-c831 (PIA) and Sialkot. PIA scored 505 runs for the loss of four wickets in their first innings before declaring and the home
team had scored 299 runs for the loss of only four wickets. With only one day left in the match, a result is highly unlikely.
