PIA was sent in to bat first after losing the toss. On a helpful wicket, PIA posted a decent first innings total of 214 runs. It was competitive score, considering the amount of help that the opposition bowlers were getting off the pitch.
PIA started off in a poor manner as they lost seven wickets with just 85 runs on the board. The top-order looked clueless against WAPDA’s bowlers. Only Asad Shafiq managed a score of some substance, as he racked up 29 runs. The late order resistance for

In the later part of the innings they lost their last four wickets in the space of just 32 runs. Rafatullah Mohmand put up a resilient show with the bat, as he struck a defiant half century. Apart from Mohmand, Aamer Sajjad was the only batsman to make an
impact with the bat, as he looked good for his 35 runs.
Anwar Ali bowled a superb spell of right-arm seam bowling, as he recorded decent figures of three for 55. Kamran Sajid was equally good with his medium pacers and grabbed three valuable wickets. The star of the show was http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Aizaz-Cheema-c961 as he ran through WAPDA’s
