full info, there is a Blue Quaker bird forsale that is 3 years old, can say thank you, laugh, hello and dancers, does nibble real hard on fingers when it is in cage but fine when out of cage, the cage and stand comes with it also all the toys, I am in Australia NSW, They are asking for $650 is this reasonable and is the Blue Quaker rare?, Thank you to all for all your time.

  1. The blue is a genetic mutation. I wouldn't call them rare, just not as readily available as a normally plumed Quaker. I've seen the blue variety go for anywhere between 500-800 dollars here in Ontario, Canada. For way of reference, a green would fetch around 400- 600 dollars here. I recall mine cost 600 5 years ago but they are also becoming more common here.


  2. I believe $650 is a good price for a blue quaker in Aus. I sell baby blues for $350.00 in the USA and could get more. Yes they are rare..
