Question:

Qualifications for enrollment?

I know this is probably a question best directed toward the intended educational institution I plan on studying at but I haven't decided which one yet. I am Swedish (and I live in Sweden) and I wish to study at a university in Canada, however I have no academic achievements and not even a high school diploma. However I have started an online study course at the Edinburgh Business School at the Hariot Watt university in Scotland. Upon completion I will have a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration. However, instead of continuing intensive studies on-campus in Scotland to get an MBA I would like to pursue an undergraduate degree from a university in Canada. This may sound strange but the reason is that I'm just not sure I can keep up with the intense pace through all nine courses required to get an MBA. So, to get to the point, what I am wondering is whether a Postgraduate Certificate would qualify as adequate academic achievement to enroll at a college/university in Canada? Or would I also need to go back and get something like a high school diploma and take an IELTS exam and document job history etc.

  1. if u can prove u r a mature student, and with postg cert u may get in.  u must hv long employment history too.  such opportunities are more plentiful in usa.  but try canada - u may get it.  they will tell u what they need.  pl try those in the smaller cities where u get less competition
