Qualifications to own/work in play centre??

i need to know what qualifications u need to own and work in a play centre in the UK...i googled it but i keep gettin random answers

What kind of play centre is it? I run a Pre-school for 2-5 year olds and you need to have a level 3 NVQ or equvilant to do so and experience for a certain amount of years. The qualifucations are different in counties. The one in Brighton & Hove is Diploma in Pre-School Practice (DPP) so would be best to ring the council of the town you're hoping to work in. Running a place needs a lot of experience so i have trained up to a degree and now feel i am better qualified for the job and confident to take everything on......including Ofsted! To work in child care you can do so with no qualifications but i recommend a minimum of level 2! I hope this helps and all the best. I'm happy to answer any more questions! x

in ireland u need to be vetted by the police so maybe its the sane
