Question:

Qualifying for the National Merit Scholarship?

The website of this organization says you have to take the test during your Junior year of high school, but other sites say you have to take the PSAT (which qualifies you for being eligible for the scholarship) during October. From what I have seen, the National Merit Scholarship's website does not mention anything about October.

My question is:

If I take the PSAT after October (Like.. February?) during my Junior year can I still qualify for the National Merit Scholarship on time?

  1. I don't think so .

But I still feel you should call them up and speak to someone one-on-one.

That's the best way of really knowing the steps involved.
