Qualitative or quantitative blood tests?

I know they're both very accurate, but which one is the most accurate? I took a pregnancy test about a week ago and it was Positive. I then went and got a blood test done yesterday and got the results back this morning, saying that im NOT pregnant! Does this happen often? Or is it known to? Women say that they just KNOW when they're pregnant, and I still do! Which blood test is the most accurate?

  1. i think that i just read your other question and you already had your answers... Blood test are almost always accurate and so are home pregnancy tests...... maybe you lost the baby sorry but that is a possibility

  2. I read some of your other questions, and I know this is going to be hard to hear, but you need to let go. You only had one positive test and that was a digital clear-blue easy, those tests are notorious for giving false positives. Yes there is a very, very slim possibility that you could be pregnant, but the chances aren't high enough to warrant getting your hopes up. You have had several negative HPT's since your one positive HPT plus a negative blood test. It's time to move on. I know how disappointing it is as I am TTC too, but it's better to move on and look forward to next month instead of fixating on a pregnancy that more than likely never happened.

    Baby dust and good luck!
