Does anyone know anything about the Pendleton Billiard Table that Sam's Club is selling? The brand is Inno Spot and it seems that this is a brand made specifically for Sam's Club. The link below will take you to the table.

http://www.inno-spot.com/

It has a slate top, solid wood rail, solid wood legs, leather pockets, etc.

It's $998.00.

And includes 1 billiard ball set, 3 composite cues, 1 wood cue, 1 brush, 1 wood triangle, 4 pieces of chalk, 1 tip scuffer, 2 cue tips, and 1 set of shims.

Is this a good deal and is it a good quality table?

Anybody know?

  1. I would counsel you NOT to purchase the table. It is NOT solid wood, rather it is pressed board with a vinneer (not sure of spelling) that will start separating when the table is exposed to damp conditions.

First determine if you have the space for a 7', 8', or 9' table. You need a minimum of 5' on each side of the table once it is placed in the center of the room. 4' is absolutely not enough space.

Then, I suggest you get on www.craigslist.org and search for a pool table there. You can also call some of the local pool rooms and ask the manager or owner if they know anyone with an available table.

You can pick up a quality used table with accessories for $500.00 to $1,200.00. Just another reminder that you will be wasting your money if you purchase a table from Wal Mart or any kind of Rec Warehouse. I hope that helps to answer your question.

  2. If you're going to invest in a pool table --- buy one that will last a few lifetimes.

You can never go wrong with Brunswick.

When buying pool tables .......you get what you pay for. Sam's Club is not "billiard minded".  If you want a pool table just for kicks and aren't so serious about the game or quality of balls ----you can find a much cheaper used table of better quality elsewhere.

    Good luck.

  3. I wouldn't expect the quality to be very good, most likely made in China. If your buying it for decoration it may suit your needs, but if your buying it for quality of playing I wouldn't recommend it.                                                                               You should be able to find decent used table for about $1000.

  4. I've never heard of it and can't say much about the quality.  I agree with the above statement about the Brunswick. If you are going to spend $1000 on a table stick to the name brands.  Brunswick, Olhousen, Kasson to name a few.  Best of luck!

  5. Why don't you try other Brands like brunswick or chevillotte (http://www.chevillotte.com/en/transforma... , they are trusted and pretty old in the market.

  6. Judging from the rest of those products I would say no

Maybe for the Kids to bang around on but not for a serious player

In a year you couldnt give it away
