Quality of Snowboards?

Question

Thinking of renting snowboard from local store in mammoth for two days. The board brands they have are Heelside and Rossignol. Never heard of either brand, i'm an experienced rider. Are these boards any good? Let me know.

Rossignol is a ski brand that has been making really good gear for a long time.  They have recently gotten into making snowboards.  Although they are a ski company, they make decent gear.  I ride pretty agressively and I would rent a Rossi board.  

I know nothing about Heelside boards, so I can't comment much on that.  

Go with the Rossi out of those choices.

Ive never heard of Heelside but Rossignol are a good brand. When i first started riding most of the rental boards i used were made by Rossignol and i found them to be quite good. Id definately rent the Rossignol rather than the other one.

from what i've heard Rossignol is a pretty good company (not the best...but kinda up there)...so i think you'd be fine using it.
