soooo is this gonna happen or what? Liverpool DO have cash to buy him, the owners withheld money for Barry because a) he was overpriced b) Xabi Alonso is better c) They thought money would be better spent on a wide player. And for once I agree with them. They are likely to make money off quaresma in Shirts/Merchandise so they feel its a good investment. I personally rate Quaresma highly,but he does get mixed opinions.What do you think ? do you want him in the team?

The answer is straight forward but there are so many Ifs..

Benitez is after a winger, so if he doesnt sign downing he will probably go for quaresma.

On the other hand, inter milan is also interested in quaresma but it seems like they are unwilling to pay the price porto has quoted for the winger.

so lets hope liverpool loses interest in downing and inter loses interest in quaresma because of the price.

But to be fair, i really think quaresma is more interested in joining inter though because of mourinho, but on the other hand there are rumours that he's had his ups and downs with him as well.

fingers crossed and hope liverpool signs him before the deadline. even on deadlin day i wouldnt mind.

if Rafa is unwilling to pay 18 million for Barry he wont pay 25 mill for Quaresma which is what Porto would want round about that.

EDIT: Rafa WASNT ready to pay 18 million , not after making 3-4 signings already with defenders and youngsters , he was READY to pay the 14 mill Barry was worth until Villa put the price up to another 4 mill , and then it was Barry or Keane , and he went with Keane , seriously read BBC sport more lol
