Quebec/Canada Strip Club policies?

My buddies took me to a strip club for my 18th in Quebec (drinking age is 18, so are the clubs) and one of them surprised me and bought me a lap dance in the VIP room.

I was always under the impression you were never allowed to touch the girl, but she practically took my hands and allowed me to fondle the merchandise, and there was a lot of body contact.

I just wanted to know, is this common for clubs in Quebec/Canada, or is it a rare thing? What's it like in the states?

It's supposed to be that they can touch you all they want, but you're not allowed to touch them.

I was @ a strip joint in Chicago once

And the place was filled with working girls

they would come over to your table and sit down beside you

and put their hand on your crotch and start rubbing

then they would invite you to go out back with them

It was the  candy store on Rush street

the lites were very low so you couldn't see how bad they looked

they were very scary looking in the light
