Quebec ~ What are things you find in Montreal that reflect the past ? ~ 10 points.?

I need to find some things that reflect the past of Montreal ~ like the Rebellion anything that has to do with la Nouvelle-France.

Ex : you know how the stop signs say Stop in both English and French that reflects on the battles between English & French that influenced this province to be bilingual.

And need a lot of things ~ give me some ideas ! 10 points to the best answer or who is the only one to answer lol :)

How far in the past are you trying to get there Gaboo?

I can't think of anything worth mentioning at this point besides maybe taking a long yet leisurely walk down to the Old Montreal and pick up a few things from that area - why not?
