Queen's University in Ireland?

Hey i want to go to Queens, but i don't know much about it. im live in America btw. Is it a hard school to get into? Is there a boys swim team? Any info on Queens would be great.

  1. Yes Queens does have a swim team. They also have an excellent sports complex BUT the national sport complex is part of University of Ulster at Jordanstown where the coaching is much better.


  2. it is quite a hard university to get into. as far as i know there is a swimming pool and a diving board but not sure about a boys swimming team...check out their website at http://www.qub.ac.uk/

  3. Technically Queen's University is in Belfast, which is technically in Northern Ireland, and as Northern Ireland is still officially part of the United Kingdom, you should repost this question there, you might get more useful information.

    I am sure that the university has a website, which you would probably find if you googled it. However, I wouldn't bank on sports prowess getting you the same deal as it would in a US college, over here academic prowess is rated far higher.

    Never refer to a European university as a 'school'. We finish with 'school' when we do the school leaving exam, which is at slightly different ages per country. It's either 'college' or 'university', or indeed 'uni'.
