Queen Elizabeth's Granddaughter Zara engaged to Mike Tindall
In the midst of all the hype of the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, which is not far away now, the preparations for Zara Phillip’s wedding with the England’s rugby star Mike Tindall are on the go as well. The developments and reviews

From Best man to venue to guest list, everything is getting attention right now. With Kate Middleton and Prince William’s wedding and this union of royal and the rugged, media is have a field trip and is not missing out on any detail related to the weddings.
The Best Man for Mike Tindall has been selected by the groom himself. Brother of Zara Phillips, Peter Phillips will be the Best Man for Tindall. All the Queen Elizabeth’s grandchildren seem to be fond of Tindall and are now close friends with him. Peter
Phillips expressed himself as delighted and honoured to be the Best Man for England’s Six Nations captain, who brought home the title.
Mike Tindall has had a great year, as he captained the England’s side in the absence of Lewis Moody and won the Six Nations title with his superb performance along with Toby Flood’s amazing tries. After the end of the tournament, Tindall is back to focus
on his wedding and all the plans. Around 400 guests will be expected on this wedding.
On the other hand, Zara is working her best to make this wedding a memorable day. Being one of less lavish royal blood, she has requested to not to close the roads on the wedding day, as she will take an alternative route to the church. Zara Phillips is
also planning to involve neighbourhood children in her wedding and arrange a tea party for all the retired workers of palace. A fund raiser is also expected for the renovation of the church.
Apart from these serious preparations, what actually popped up as a humorous development was Princess Anne Phillips’ comment on Mike Tindall’s broken nose. A statement which has been the headlines to many newspapers was, “Get your nose sorted before the
wedding.” Princess wants the Gloucester rugby’s hero to look more of a soft guy than a tough rugby champ, so she asked him to get his nose straightened.
Tindall admitted, “Princess Anne asked me if I’d have my surgery.” This might have come out as a shock to him, as he had already went under nasal surgery and isn’t willing to get knives in his nose again. In his long career, Tindall has broken his nose at
least 8 times and it is the major reason for his lighthearted arguments with his mates in dressing room.
Meanwhile, Zara Phillips seems to have no issues with the nose and is too excited for the wedding to concentrate on such things.
The couple bought a home together, costing around 800,000 Euros in Gloucestershire. It is the same place where Tindall proposed Zara Phillips last year. They became friends in 2002 and it took long enough for this development.
Tindall said, “I am delighted that Zara has agreed to marry me. We are both very excited about the next stage in our lives together.”
