Queen Mary 2, Norweigain Spirit, Star Princess suggestions?

Question

I was going to do a transatlantic trip from france to new york and i wanted feedback on whoever's been on the Queen Mary 2 ship. Is it fun? was it a great expeirence you would do again

I also wanna know about the Norewigain Spirit cruise from new york to the bahamas. i hear it was crappy.

I also want to know whether or not the Star Princess cruise to the mexican rivera from los angeles was fun.

Anyone whose gone to any of these voyages please tell how they were like.

I was on the Norweigain Spirit last July for a 14 day cruise to the Bahams and other places. The pool was okay, got very crowded at times, the basketball courts were always crowded. There was a putting area for golf that was pretty good, the arcade was pretty good (it was very big), My kids never tried the kids area or the camps so I don't know much about it.  They always played the same crappy songs over and over by the pool.  

Dinner- The food for Dinner in the main dining room was pretty good, but the dessets were not that good. You had a different waiter every night. Sometimes you would have a really dull one who would not talk and other nights you would have really nice waiters. The Buffet was not that good, the breakfast was good, Lunch was pretty bad, and never tried it for dinner. I recommend doing the sit down lunch's, there pretty good. When you first get on the ship(if you choose this one) go to the sit down lunch, even though they try and heard you to the buffets, there is not many people there and it is better.  The Blue Logoon, which had hamburgers, hotdogs, chillie, etc. was pretty good. It got very crowded at times. It was really small in a little hallway and there were people walking by every second it got annoying at times. Same with the sports bar that was right next to it, you could not concertrate becasue people were walking by every second. They also kept boring poker on the tv's like 24/7. Except I was there during the all star game, so they played the home run derby.

The room was okay, the room does not really matter to me becasue you dont spend much time there. It was a little small. I had 4 people.  

The shows were good but some of the musicals were really boring. I did fall alsleep during some of them. Sharkbait (comedians who did funny performances) were really good. Really funny

I am going on a Princess cruise this year, not the star, but I have heard it is good. I heard the food was really good.

I have been on the Star Princess. The Princess lines are really nice. I don't think you can go wrong here. It's a nice ship with a great crew ( or it was when I went on it years ago).

I actually preferred the food on the Carnival line I went on last year to the Bahamas. Sooo good.

But back to the Star. I think it's one of the nicest ships that runs on the west coast. Sabatini's Italian Restaurant is yummy. It has a really big casino if you like to gamble or just watch. Also they have a 24 hour Internet cafe.

I haven't been on the star, but have been on the Mexican rivera from LA and had a blast. I love Princess so much that I have sailed with them 8 times. Why not consider them for a transalantic crossing. They also are doing world cruises now.
