Queen Shaw has a clear chance in Perry Barr’s A2 Owners Bonus Series - Heat 1
Queen Shaw is likely to extend her advantage over Cheeky Captain and secure the first place in the opening heat of Owners Bonus Series, scheduled to be held at Perry Barr on Saturday, June 16th.
N. Slowley’s charge was quite impressive ahead of her recent poor show. After sealing two back-to-back wins, the black b***h failed to continue the good work and as a result, finished fourth last time.
Despite the fact that the b***h was not impressive, it is hard to ignore her chances for the top position. At the start of this month, Black Shaw’s daughter beat the likes of Sawpit Sunny and Cheeky Captain to seal the top position by a length’s distance.
Since she got crowded twice on the track, it was almost impossible for her to make an impression last time. Cheeky Captain and four other hounds will try to stop Queen Shaw from bagging the top prize and the names of the remaining participants are: Cragg
Merc, Autumn Tulip, Cooneen Fantasy and Barracuda Jed.
The 480 metres Grade A2 event will be kicked off at 20:13 (GMT). The ultimate champion will walk away with a handsome cash prize worth £67.
Cheeky Captain will attract plenty of support. The black dog has been unlucky over the past few weeks, as he was third in his previous three outings. Prior to his three not-so-impressive efforts, W. Russell’s trainee sealed two consecutive triumphs at Perry
Barr.
Cooneen Fantasy is unlikely to do any damage, because he is in poor form these days. Barracuda Jed takes a while to stoke up to the boiler. The black dog was triumphant in his previous race, but stepping up to this level will put him under some pressure.
Cragg Merc would have finished closer without the hassle she faced last time. A clear run will enhance her chances for the next round. Autumn Tulip does not instantly grab the attention against this line-up.
Queen Shaw has a good chance of imposing another defeat on Cheeky Captain and if she succeeds in this task, it will be an easy win for her. Good luck to all runners.
