According to reports in French and English media, English Premier League outfit, Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314, is willing to offer Ligue 1 side Olympique de Marseille 7 million euros for the services of versatile midfielder, Stephane Mbia.
Mbia, 26, joined Marseille from Stade Rennais in 2009, has made no secret of his desire to seek a fresh challenge in his playing career. Although, the Cameroon international has no reservations in staying at the Velodrome for the current campaign, Marseille
will consider selling the player in order to free up some much-needed cash.
So far, Elie Baup has lost the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 respectively. However, in order to have a late transfer market activity, Les Phoceens might still have to sell a few more players.
And, Stephane Mbia might be a player the club would consider selling in order to have ample cash in the coffers.
QPR manager, Mark Hughes has already signed nine players this summer and it seems that the Welshman’s spending spree may not be over yet. The former Manchester City gaffer is apparently a big fan of Mbia and is willing to offer his current club 7 million
euros to attain the player’s signature.
However, it should be kept in mind that the offer does not include the services of want away midfielder Joey Barton. Les Phoceens are keen on bringing the player to the Velodrome but so far, there has been no reports suggesting that the residents of Loftus
Road will go for a player plus cash deal.
With their current financial situation, Marseille will certainly consider selling Mbia to the London side. However, the club also needs to know that Mbia’s versatility would be sorely missed. The Yaoundé native can operate as a defensive midfielder, right-back
and centre-back which makes him a great asset for any team in either http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 or in England.
