Queensland Next State of Origin Captain?

Question

When Darren Lockyer finally retires from rep football who will be Queenslands next captain.

For me it will be either Cameron Smith or Johnathan Thurston.

Cameron Smith has the upper hand on Thurston as he is a premiership winning captain and captained Australia in last years end of season demolition of the Kiwi's but who knows what will happen in two/three years time.

What do you think, Thurston, Smith or someone else?

Smith, Civonoceva maybe (too old!?) or maybe Thurston.

Smith you'd think, Thurston seems to be to agro and a livewire at times. Smith is young, yet experienced, captained a team to a premiership and captained Australia already.

I reckon Thurston bcuz he gos off his nut all the time 2 try and lift his team, which is vitally important

Thurston definately. he inspires the team so much. he has come back from 2 shoulder reconstructions and still sprints up and makes big tackles on the big men. He is always thinking of the team aswell.

cameron smith will be the next QLD captain as he is the current roos captain, thurston will be his deputy.thurston will be sooner or later.
