A concentrated all-round performance saw the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Queensland-c834 Bulls clinching a comprehensive 110-run win over the New South Wales Blues in the 12th match of the ongoing Ryobi One-Day Cup, played at the Gabba today on November 21.
The match kicked off with Queensland winning the toss and choosing to bat first. Blues skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Harold-William-Stephenson-c61707 O’Keefe (13-1-65-3) was the top wicket-taker for his team, but his lone efforts, coupled with small contributions from the other bowlers in the attack, failed
to restrict some of the Bulls’ key batsmen.
Queensland openers http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Chris-Hartley-c1243 (50) got the team off to a steady start with a 64-run partnership. O’Keefe got the Blues their first breakthrough with the wicket of Khawaja in the 15th over, and Khawaja's
successor http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Josh-Reginald-Hazlewood-c69504.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nathan-Reardon-c2071 (8), who
followed him to the crease, remained insipid, soon falling prey to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Moises-Henriques-c2021.

Queensland then went on to launch an effective defence of their total, with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Alister-McDermott-c43674 (10.5-3-26-3) took care of the tail.
Only four batsmen – http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Peter-Nevill-c2180 (14) – managed to reach double figures. The rest failed to put up much of a fight, and were swept off the pitch by the Bulls’ bowlers with apparent ease. By the
37th over, the Blues were all out for 142, and Queensland went on to claim an emphatic 110-run victory.
