Wrestling season starts in two-three months, and I've got to accomplish this. I'm thinking about eating nothing but vegetables and fruits. I could care less if it's healthy or not, tell that to Ricky Hatton who lost like 50 lbs to fight Mayweather! The point is, I need your tips and pointers how to keep this successful whether or not it's body fat or water weight doesn't make me a difference.

  2. i had a friend who lost that much weight but it ended up working against him cause he had no energy the day of the match so he got his *** kicked. just exercise as much as you can and stay away from the junk food.

  3. I also wrestle and want to know y youd want to lose that much. Bulk up in muscle and go higher weight. Also you said it but that is so unhealthy your going to get an eating disorder. If you cant handle your weight class don't wrestle. Sorry man, but a kid in my school lost 30lbs and looked really weird. Everyone made fun of him and called him anerexic.

  4. First of all, there hasn't been a single educated answer yet. 30 pounds in two-three months is VERY reasonable WITHOUT having to resort to extreme methods (i.e. save the water weight cutting for if you need to shed a few pounds for the weigh in). Believe me, I've not only done it, but I've seen it done many many times without the person looking like a freak, or having decreased energy. All it takes is that you follow the basic guidelines of nutrition and exercise. A lot of this you might know already, but since I don't know what you know, I'll list it anyways.

1- Burn more calories than you eat to lose weight. Personally, I hate counting calories so I don't. On days I work out hard, I eat more than I do on days that I don't do anything. Use your judgment-- eating is important and necessary, and as long as you're not feeding your body total garbage you should be alright.

2- Recognize body garbage. This includes saturated fat, and all processed sugars/carbs. Ditch the white breads/rice/pastas for some whole wheat/whole grain/whole anything. No more non-diet sodas, juices, etc. You can get away with some of this stuff before and after you workout, but that's a much longer explanation.

3- Keep your meals spaced out. Fuel your body continuously throughout the day-- you can only retain so much energy before the excess gets stored to fat. Think of a car's gas tank.  You don't put 50 gallons of gas in it at once. You put gas in gradually throughout the week. I eat 7 small-medium meals a day.

4,5,6,7- Run, bike, swim, play sports, stay active!

Eating nothing but vegetables and fruits MIGHT help you lose weight, but it's not like they're magic fat burning foods. You can get the same results just by following my tips. I lost ten pounds a months without even having to run.

You could do it if you have the discipline.

  5. Tell your coach to go fck himself. That is an unhealthy amount of weight to drop unless you are already fat.

You don't care? Oh really? You will care in about 15-20 years when you pay for it with your health. Don't be stupid for a sport. Do it the healthy way or don't do it at all. I owned people in college lacrosse and did it the smart way. Do something else if you are going to sacrifice your health for a sport.

  6. Throw up all your food!!!!!!!!

    Eat Exlax all the time!!!!!!!!!!

    Don't eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
