Question: When you die what happens to the neurophotons, do they change form to violate the laws of physics and cease to exist or countinue on to exist?

Eletricity is a form of light and all knowledge enters our brain as light, remains a form of light energy while in our brain, travels through our bodies across a complex wiring system of neuron cels as light, and in fact, was always light and will always remain light. This charge of electricity is the energy package that animates you both physically and mentally. This eletricity make up your consciousness.

If this is to hard I understand.

  1. As best I can tell, "neurophoton" is one of those sciency-sounding words invented by New Agers.  It's employed in the theoretical (rather than practical) exploration of what "could be" when it comes to consciousness and the survival of the spirit after death.  It is not a thing but a concept, an abstract idea.  As such it has not been observed, measured, studied, etc. because it's imaginary.

  2. The word neurophotons has no meaning for me. The brain is the physical aspect of the mind. The brain turns to dust unless you are an Incorruptible like of 900 Saints around the world.

The essence of life however you define it continues, not necessarily in the physical realm.

  3. First thing to mention here is that "neurophotons" is an idea put forward by some person on the internet, and nowhere are neurophotons discussed in any neurology or physics research or texts, nor is such a particle required to explain any observations concerning the neurology of the brain. In other words, it's a pseudo-science.

A couple of other things. Electricity is the flow of electrons through a conductor, while the fundamental particle of light is a photon. Photons and electrons are clearly two different particles. However, electrical fields, magnetic fields and light are all manifestations of the same thing, electromagnetic radiation.

That being said, "knowledge enters our brain as light" is not something that either physicists or neurologists would agree to. Knowledge is a cognitive process which takes input from the senses, and only the eyes intercept light while the skin senses it as heat. Also, according to our current neurology knowledge, the neurons function via electrical potential changes (electrons), not via photon transfer.

I think you got your information from www.opuslux.com/roleoflight.htm, but keep in mind that web page has nothing to back it up and contradicts much well-established science.

So when you die, what happens?  Basic thermodynamics continues as usual and your body decays. The consciousness can be considered a product of electrical & biochemical energy, but without a power source (a living body), it ceases as well according to well understood thermodynamic conservation laws.

EDIT: I did read the article, and since none of it has any experimental support (much of the article was unsupported conjecture), nor is there any mechanistic theories for it based on established science, nor is it even considered as an area of research by any neurologists or physicists, I do have to contend that is a pseudoscience. I'd encourage you to study actual neuroscience instead if you're interested in this topic.
