  1. My son had a Dionysus of Pervasive Behaviour Disorder. I don't choose to use medication, but am changing his diet which is in trail period.

I still give my child things he needs and treats but i don't spoil him.

He doesn't even own a playstation or xbox or wii as i believe that could affect with his learning and when later on a child who plays on these games all the time may develop "attention disorder" when a teenager. Also a child may also develop poor eating habits.

I don't believe any child should be spoiled with stuff or be spoiled by not doing anything eg their room, cleaning ect.

A child doesn't need a lot of things but a child needs love and respect, courage, encouragement, guidence and more then toys and other things.

My partner or I didn't have much as a child and had a tough childhood, but i believe that this has set us up for the real world.

I feel some parents today don't give a child enough to cope with daily life for when their older. They spoil them to much and are lazy. I don't intend to be  one of those parents.

I'm am glad you are doing a great job with you child as ADHA may not only be hard for the child but also the parents and for the people involved around the child. Keep up the good work.

  2. sounds like you and your husband are doing a great job well done and yes change of diet can dramatically help however this is a trial and error difficult task i found it best to get assistance from a qualified dietician

  3. From what it sounds like you're doing a great job.  You keep her busy and occupied.  You've got her in activities and you listen to and love her.  Seriously, i don't think you should worry about it.  You are doing a great job.  If you want any advice, maybe you should ask her?
