Lol...

I have seen many questions about saturn returns from several people ( including myself ) and basically the general understanding is that it isnt a nice experience to go through.

However , this question is a little bit different. Would the experience be easier or less painful when an individual has many good saturn aspect in her/his natal chart. For instance, I have saturn in scorpio in 2nd house , but saturn is playing nice in my chart being trine my sun, mars and to a wider orb, the moon. So, astrologically speaking , would the return be less harsh and actually supportive , especially to the sun and mars ?

The same question to if a person has many challenging aspects to saturn in his/her natal chart , is the return gonna be harder to deal with ?

  1. In a nutshell I see the Saturn return as the end of childhood and time to lay down the rose glasses and get back at reality.

What people avoided or failed to confront before are suddenly hit from the old man : hey time to wake up !

The Saturn return just does not happen one day once you wake up. Events leads to it a few years before it happens. If people ignore them, it can be a very bad experience indeed.

But if Saturn can well aspected, people can adjust and accept that life is like a circle and ever changing.

For ex. lots of people choose to quit their careless free lives and suddenly want to settle down and lead more conventional lives.

Others who resist the warning of Saturn can pay dearly.

Just adding. RA wrote a good post anyway.

  2. Hi again, Ryan:)

Saturn return is all about reviewing the previous 28 or so years of your life and how well you've learned your Saturn lessons. If you have been conscientious in learning those lessons, then your Saturn return will be more about well earned rewards than it will be limitation and restriction, but if you have not learned those lessons which you need to learn, or if you need to learn new things about those lessons, then you may find the reverse is true. Typically it's one then the other, limitation and then when you grasp the discipline required, rewards. This works regardless of whether or not your natal Saturn is harmoniously aspected or has challenging aspects. It may possibly be a bit easier for those who have natal Saturn in harmony with the rest of their chart, but it's important to remember that those harmonious aspects are easily taken advantage of, making the individual a bit lazy in learning their Saturn lessons. So there is a possibility that this person will actually find Saturn return more difficult than someone who has a challenging Saturn placement to begin with, because the person with the challenging Saturn is going to be more accustomed to dealing with the harsher side of Saturn to begin with, while the individual with Saturn in easy aspect to the rest of their chart may be able to coast along through life with assistance from those objects which are aspecting Saturn harmoniously without having to worry too much about their Saturn lessons.....until something like a Saturn return comes along, in which the weight of the double Saturn placement in the chart (natal + transiting) forces the individual to take notice of what their responsibilities and obligations are in life, and where they need to exert some self discipline.

That would be my take on it, anyhow.
