I'm in college and living with my boyfriend in an apartment, really close to campus. We had a bed at one time but the wooden boards in the box spring broke completely in half because they were old, and probably because it can't support the weight of both of us? He isn't fat (fat), but he's really tall and bulky with a big frame and weighs 300 lbs, and I weight about 140 lbs. Instead of spending so much money on a new bed frame, and mattress set, I wanted to get one of those low to the floor beds that a lot of college students get for dorms that require furniture, and even sometimes at home. The problem is, I don't know what to search for because I don't know what they are called. Does anyone know? And also, if you do, or have had one.. Do they hold a lot of weight or whatever?
