  1. 7.50 is the minimum wage. id say 8$ to start off. if they really likeyou theyll insist on giving you more.

  2. It all depends on how long your babysitting and what else your doing.

A 'normal' rate would be about 6-8 dollars an hour.

Try talking to the parents. ;]

    Good luck!

  3. when i babysit i charge $5 and hour for every kidd

  4. From experience I can tell you every parent is different about what THEY want to pay the babysitter. It's understandable, but you should definitely discuss this with them. It's important that an agreement is made or else you'll end up like me getting duped. I watched a 2 year old and a 5 year for 10 hours a day during the week. When Friday evening came around and I was waiting to get paid I got paid 40 dollars...Needless to say I stopped babysitting for those people.

  5. Generally you give the babysitter $25-$45 dollars per evening, depending on the # of children.

For one child (especially since it's a baby) I'd charge around $7 an hour.

  6. I pay about 4 dollars an hour for my 2 year old.

  7. its diffrent depending on how much you need to do,

change it, feed it, put it to sleep,

than atleast 10 bucks an hour

if you just need to make sure its not like,

    doing anything dangrous

than 6 an hour is plenty,

    talk to the parents

see what they're willing to give.

  8. I dont know where all you other mothers live but here in Australia we pay $20 - $30  an hour i need to move to where you are !!! lol
