What discoveries/inventions came out of India/Hinduism?

  1. How about Einstein's theory of Relativity?

    This theory owes much to Hinduism, because HIndus believe subjective reality is more important than (so-called) objective reality...The latter type of reality, they believe, does not even exist.  (Note how different this is from Western, Baconian ideas of science, which believe nothing is real unless it can be viewed and confirmed by many observers.)

    The Hindu idea that Relativism was the most important thing - what the individual observer saw was more important than what others saw - was the basis for Einstein's theory.  


  2. For a large portion of its history Indian were renowned for the quality of their iron/steelwork, more the quality control & chemistry than the working of the product.
