Question About My TI 84 Plus?

I can't get my calculator to give me answers in terms of degrees. For example, if I input tan(.25) all I can get is .0043633508.

For tan(4), all I can get is .0699268119

I used to be able to get the degrees for tan(4), and came up with 75.96, I just cant' remember how. I am still new with a graphing calculator.

  1. tan(4) does not represent degrees.

If you want to find the angle whose tangent is 4, then you would use arctan(4) or tan^-1 (4).
