Question About Recording Yourself on the Computer?

my singing instructor has a computer program that allows her to sing while the computer records what she's singing. then she burns it to a disc. just wondering what this program could be? i am really curious and don't have lessons for another 2 weeks, i am too anxious to wait til then to ask her.

i would really like to know what this is. or any other programs like it. are they free??? i would really like to just download it or something for free.

Could it be Audio Studio? Audio Studio allows you to record audio from your hardware/software (such as your MP3 Player, microphone, PC Radio, ect.) and burn it onto a disc. You can also import, edit and convert audio formats.
