Kay. I'm just a little confuzzled about this...

Is the hymen the same thing as your "cherry"? You know, the term "Pop your cherry." Sometimes you bleed, sometimes you don't. That thing.

I was wondering because some other Yahoo!er was scared of popping or breaking her Hymen. And some other person replied with "Don't worry, it won't hurt as long as he's gentle." So that lead me to the conclusion that the hymen and the "cherry" are the same thing. Set me straight, please?

Yes, cherry is just slang for hymen because both are red. And stuff. Yes.

not quite the same. cherry is also used to refer to anal virginity, not just vaginal.  butt yes, popping the cherry also refers to breaking the hymen
