Question About Veg Garden?

Are there any veggies that will come up year after year without having to replant them? Because every year I put in tomatoes and I was wondering if thee was anything that you just put in once and then it kept coming back. I don't think so, but I thought I'd ask.

  1. Rhubarb

Strawberries  : If they are taken care of and thinned out ,but will in time have to be replanted or transplanted at some point ,

    Horseradish

and the ones already stated above ...

  2. Asparagus, some spinach.

  3. Asparagus, Rhubarb, Horseradish, Jeruselam Artichokes, "regular" Artichokes if you're in a mold-winter climate... and if you extend into fruit...Strawberries...well, most berries, fruit trees, etc.  Quite a few herbs fit the bill, as well.

  4. Asparagus, rhubarb, horseradish all are perreniel.  There are some varieties of onions (ie egyptian walking onions) that for practical purposes behave like a perreniel.  Peppers can be dug up and overwintered inside and replanted again outside.

  5. okra

  6. Asparagus
